Glass Inspector (Morning Shift)

About the Job
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a manufacturing organization.
  • Experience working with manufacturing tools & equipment.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience using manufacturing tools and equipment.
  • Inspect incoming IGUs for defects and verify specifications.
  • Report and quarantine defective IGUs.
  • Safely operate a forklift and overhead vacuum lift (training provided if required).
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area (5S).
  • Strong attention to detail and good eyesight.
  • Ability to read and write English.
  • Experience using measuring tools (tape measure and digital caliper).
  • Basic computer and smartphone skills.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Willingness to learn IGU products and inspection standards.
  • Reliable transportation required (no transit service available to Gloucester Estates).
  • Safety footwear required. Annual company-paid safety footwear after 3 months; all other tools and training provided.
  • Must have reliable transportation, as transit service is not available to the Gloucester Estates area.

About the job:
Based in our factory in Gloucester Estates, Langley, the Glass Inspection (AM SHIFT) is responsible for manufacturing Cascadia’s award-winning windows and doors. Experience in window production or other manufacturing is required, but our onboarding and training program can bring interested applicants up to speed quickly.
